UNITED STATES SERVICE COMMAND MISSION POLICY

The USSC serves as a secular disaster relief organization, providing operational support during local, regional, and national disasters, both natural and man-made. Our primary mission is to offer volunteer, professional help to First Responders dealing with the traumatic effects of their on-site disaster encounters. Occasionally, we may operate directly at disaster sites. We also train First Responders and others to prepare them for traumatic events.

We also have:

1) Chaplains serving law enforcement agencies, corrections facilities, state legislatures, fire rescue units, Military Entrance Processing Stations, the US Coast Guard Auxiliary, community services, and more.

2) Security personnel training churches in church security measures.

MISSION of the USSC

The mission of the United States Service Command of America is to:

  • Provide service to any agency with a need we can fill
  • With trained volunteers, offer disaster relief to national, state, or local relief agencies.
  • Supply volunteers for any select mission or function requested by governmental agencies.
  • Create a camaraderie among citizen volunteers interested in serving their country.

HISTORY of the USSC

The United States Service Command (USSC) was founded in the summer of 1994 by a group of individuals with extensive experience in volunteer organizations. Disenchanted with existing organizations, they sought to create a new organization with a viable mission in disaster relief. The USSC was officially incorporated on March 30, 1995, as a 501(C)(3) non-profit and volunteer organization. The first National Meeting was held in Chicago, Illinois, in October 1995. Since then, the USSC has evolved into the organization it is today.
